According to the Alternativa and Més parties, mayor Tomeu Cifre went behind their backs and those of other parties at Pollensa town hall in presenting technical reports related to the old Pollensa-Lluc road to the Council of Mallorca. This is not the first time that the mayor has been accused of not consulting with other parties and is also not the first time that a potential conflict of interest over the road has arisen, given that the mayor's family owns a finca through which the road passes.
