Well, here's a bit of a turn-up. While the regional government in the Balearics contemplates the creation of a "green" lane to run along the abandoned rail line from Manacor to Artà, the national government is suggesting that finance will be made newly available under investment plans to 2014 for both this rail line and the extension from Sa Pobla to Alcúdia, which collapsed when agreement could not be reached regarding its route.
