MALLORCA TODAY - Fireworks display company to close

Will there be any more fireworks displays at Mallorca's fiestas? While some town halls have cut back on their displays, it seems that many have not been paying for them. As a result, the only company in Mallorca dedicated to pyrotechnic displays, Pirotècnia Jordà de Lloret, is to cease trading because of the failure of town halls to pay it. Some debts have been outstanding for as long as three years.
