MALLORCA TODAY - Bellevue hotel group bankrupt

The Hotetur chain of hotels, formerly part of the Grupo Marsans and now under Posibilitum, is expected to shortly be declared by a judge in Madrid to have entered voluntary bankruptcy. The chain includes the Alcúdia hotels Bellevue and Lagomonte.

i have also read reviews on hotel review sites about shortage of staff and severe queues for food and beveridges,

While the Hotetur chain is likely to be declared as having entered voluntary bankruptcy, this doesn't mean that its hotels would cease trading as the ultimate owners are liquid, which wasn't the case with the previous ones. So I don't think you should be concerned. As to shortages of staff and queues, can't comment.

I have booked to stay at the Lagomonte next June, will there be any knock on effect on our holiday booking?

Really don't believe there is any reason to be concerned. The fact that Hotetur may be declared bankrupt is, from what I can make out, more a technicality. There is absolutely no suggestion that either Bellevue or Lagomonte will not still be operating next year.
