MALLORCA TODAY - AENA and unions reach agreement

Though ratification is needed from union memberships, the planned strikes at Spanish airports seem to be all but called off, union negotiators having agreed in principle with offers from the airports authority, AENA. The government's secretary of state for transport has said that in the tourism sector travellers can be confident of being able to fly at Easter.

Well I better get the cases out then ! Seriously, I have 3 trips planned this year to Spain and I was prepared to scrap the lot and spend my euros somewhere else.
